Transportation
Access to Hontoon Island State Park is primarily by ferry. The free ferry service operates from the mainland park entrance at 2309 River Ridge Road, DeLand. There is ample parking available at the mainland entrance. Votran bus routes do not directly serve the park entrance, so alternative transportation such as ride-sharing services or personal vehicles are recommended.
